Philadelphia Eagles: Week 3 injury update.

Alright, Philadelphia Eagles fans, as you are well are, the Eagles seem to be unable to be untouched by the injury bug every season. This season has been no different. As most already know, the Eagles have placed defensive end Brandon Graham and right guard Brandon Brooks both on IR. Brooks doesn't appear season-ending, but he will miss significant time, and Graham is done for the season.

We have already dove into the issue that the Eagles will be facing both on and off the field with Brandon Graham being out. However, on top of that, the Birds have a few more names to add to this list in front of their divisional Monday night game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Zach Ertz, placed earlier in the week on the covid list, has been activated off after passing protocol. Ertz will be good to go against Dallas. The more prominent name that was a late addition this week was left tackle Jordan Mailata. The Aussie suffered a knee injury late in practice on Thursday and has been officially ruled out for their upcoming matchup.

Though it completely stinks that the Eagles will not have Mailata, it so far appears that this might be his only game missed (we hope). Former first-round pick, Andre Dillard, will be taking over at the left tackle spot for this upcoming game, which I am sure all Eagles fans can agree is not ideal.

One of the significant advantages the Eagles had going into this game against the Cowboys was that their offensive line had a real opportunity to dominate against Dallas' defensive line, which is highly depleted. Now with both Brooks and Mailata out, that matchup is starting to favor the Cowboys.

The last player that has been officially ruled out is safety Rodney McLeod. Most Philly fans thought McLeod would be back on the field already, especially since the Eagles took him off the PUP list before the season started. The word from practice is that Rodney looks good but is still wearing a knee brace. Hopefully, he is back in the lineup soon.

We here at FPF Network will keep everyone up to date once more information is out.
