5 Eagles who should get a Pro Bowl nod.

As we are coming down the stretch of the 2021 season, a lot of concerns and questions have been surrounding this Philadelphia Eagles team. However, that does not mean that we haven't gotten some answers as a fanbase and it also does not mean that we have not seen some positives as well.

I think it might be time to take a look at who on this roster has a possibility of being selected to the 2021 Pro Bowl. Yes, I am well aware that this is still weeks away, but now is the time during the season where the plays made of the field start making a last impact and impression on the rest of their peers. Let's take a look, shall we?

1. Jason Kelce, Center.

With four Pro Bowl nods underneath his belt already, the eleventh-year veteran is still continuing to prove that he is still one of the most elite centers to have ever played the game. Kelce has made his point season after season and with a fifth Pro Bowl nod, he has all but confirmed a ticket to the hall of fame.

The 3x All-Pro is currently ranked Top 5 of all current centers in the NFL and has been the heartbeat of not only the offensive line but this team. Honestly, if for some reason he does not get a nod, we as Eagles' fans should absolutely riot.

2. Jordan Mailata, Tackle.

The once rugby player turned into starting left tackle has been doing nothing but impress each and every time he is on the field. Mailata has dropped a bit in the ranking (from 8 to 18), but is still in the top 20 of all tackles in this league. To put some context to it, this is Jordan's first year as a starting left tackle, in a sport he never played before until a few years ago, and he has a legitimate shot at making it his first Pro Bowl selection.

The only thing holding the Aussie back is the time he missed from his knee injury. Hopefully, that doesn't get held against him and if he continues to play the way he has, no doubt he will be to his first of many Pro Bowls.

3. Darius Slay, Cornerback.

The already 3x Pro Bowler is making a strong case to be elected to his 4th. 'Big Play Slay' has had an incredible season so far in 2021. Slay currently is ranked 3rd overall in every cornerback playing 80% of snaps, has allowed the 4th fewest passing yards, the lowest yards per catch allowed, and is ranked 3rd overall.

With two scope and scores and two interceptions, Slay should be a lock. To wrap it up, he has been playing great for this team and has not shown losing a single step.

4. Jake Elliot, Kicker.

Not going to spend much time on this, but Jake Elliot is having a career year and is currently ranked 6th overall out of all kickers. Especially after having a terrible year last year, he not only has bounced back but is quickly earning his stripes. Good for him.

5. DeVonta Smith, Wide Receiver.

So, some Philly fans may be wondering why I may have not placed someone like Javon Hargrave in this spot and that is simply because the last few games he has been held silent. Now, can that change? Of course. However, for now, we are going to stick with players who are shining and DeVonta Smith certainly is.

He is a long shot from making a Pro Bowl selection, but he is currently ranked as the best receiver in the last 4 weeks and shows zero signs of slowing down. His connection with quarterback Jalen Hurts is really starting to heat up at a great time.

Who did I miss? Who do you think should get a Pro Bowl nod on this team? Let us know!
