Philadelphia Eagles: Offensive grades through 4 weeks.

Alrighty, Philadelphia Eagles fans, as the Birds have made it through their first four weeks of the 2021 season, it is time we take a look at the overall grades and ranks that this team has been given. This will be a two-part series in which we here at FPF will be starting with the offense.

There was some solid buzz around how this offense might look coming out of training camp, and outside of a few blooper reel games, this offense has been putting up some solid numbers. To put into context how we will be making this list, we will be using the ranking that PFF.com has given each player. The offensive players that will be listed are only those who are in the starting lineup. We will have a second category for those who are replacing players on injured reserve. Let's get started, shall we?

Ranking the Eagles starting offense

Overall offense rank by PFF- 8th out of 32.

Quarterback rank out of 35

Jalen Hurts – 13th

Wide receiver rank out of 110

Quez Watkins - 20th

Devonta Smith – 44th

(side note: Smith is ranked #1 in blocking)

Jalen Reagor -73rd

Running back rank out of 59

Kenny Gainwell – 6th

Miles Sanders – 31st

Tight End rank out of 70

Dallas Goedert – 11th

Zach Ertz – 29th

Center rank out of 75

Jason Kelce- 1st

Tackle rank out of 73

Jordan Mailta -3rd

Lane Johnson-37th

Guard rank out of 75

Isaac Seumalo- 14th (Prior to IR)

Brandon Brooks-60th (Prior to IR)

Back up ranking

Andre Dillard-22nd out of 73

Landon Dickerson – 36th out of 75

Now given that Pro Football Focus is not the end all be all, some of these ranks can be argued. However, most of them are fairly accurate when it comes to what we as fans have seen so far this season. Hoping that some of these ranks increase by the end of the season or at the very least, not fall.
