Eagles' get some positive news on injured players.

Philly Fans, our beloved Philadelphia Eagles have for the most part escaped the injury bug, until recently. Over the course of the past few weeks, the Birds lost Avonte Maddox, Jordan Davis, and Dallas Goedert to injury. Obviously these are key players and we have already seen the impact that is missing from Davis and Maddox not being on the field.

With the addition to Joseph and Suh, there was some concern that Davis' time table maybe extended past for the four weeks and when Goedert was viewed wearing a sling at practice, it looked like we may not see them for sometime.

Luckily, the Eagles got some positive news this week.

A source close to the situation reported to ESPN that Goedert will be back in the regular season, it's just a question if he will return with four, three or two games remaining in the regular season. As of now, the earliest return point would be against the Bears on December 18th, latest being against the New Orlean Saints. For all of us, I hope that it is on the earlier end of that spectrum.

As for Jordan Davis, it is looking highly likely that he will return against the Tennessee Titans, which will be exactly four weeks from the point he was injured against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Philadelphia Eagles have absolutely missed Davis on defense, and him returning, even if it is on a minimal snap count, will surely be welcomed.

As far as Maddox is concerned, there has not been a lot of news on the nature of the injury, but he also expected to be ready to go as soon as his IR designation time is completed.

This is all great news for this team, who will look to be getting healthy at the right time.
