A few players that this Eagles' team needs to consider.

Philly fans, as our beloved Philadelphia Eagles are entering the ladder part of the season, it is time this team (and us) start thinking about it's future and what it will look like in 2023. We have to face facts, this team has a lot of free agents next season and the Eagles are just not going to be able to resign them all.

With that being said, this team does have a decent amount of draft picks, including two first-round picks, courtesy of the New Orleans Saints. With so many free-agents entering 2023, this team will have several needs. Not to mention that a lot of Philadelphia's key pieces are entering the later stages of their career.

Good news for this team and their draft capital is that there is an abundance of talent coming out in next year's NFL draft and we here have a list of a few players this team should keep their eye's on.

Let's see who they are, shall we?

1 Will Anderson Jr, Edge : Alabama.

If you do not know who Will Anderson is, you have been living under a rock for the last few years. Anderson is one of the most explosive defensive players coming out of college to date. The 6'4, 243 lb edge rusher is a force on whatever side of the field he is playing on. Quick of the snap, big bend, and a king of the stunts, Anderson would be a huge addition to the Eagles' defensive line.

2. Cam Smith, CB : South Carolina.

With the departure of James Bradberry more than likely happening post this season and Darius Slay getting older, Philadelphia has to put some stock into it's defensive back room and Cam Smith would be a great addition. Smith has good size and is extremely fluid, which allows him to be efficient in man coverage.

3. Jalen Carter, IDL : Georgia.

Drafted a top interior defensive linemen from Georgia already, why not draft another? Carter, who is 6'3 and 310 pounds is not as opposing as his former teammate, Jordan Davis, but is still someone that opposing offensive linemen have to worry about. He is quick off the ball and has an extremely powerful first step that allows him to get into the backfield with ease.

4. Antonia Johnson, S : Texas A&M.

CJ Gardner-Johnson and Marcus Epps have been playing solid, but both of them are free-agents heading into 2023. I do think that they will both likely be resigned, but outside of that the Eagles have absolutely no depth outside of those two. Johnson would make an immiedate impact if Philadelphia picked him. The 6'3 Auggie has incredible ball skills and would be best suited as a strong safety.

5. Joey Porter Jr, CD : Penn State.

Just like we discussed earlier with the departure of Bradberry, this team needs to take a serious look at it's defensive back's room. If they are looking to add a true outside corner, Nittany Lion Joey Porter Jr, is a name this team can not overlook. Porter, who stands 6'2 and weighs 195 pounds, is overall raw in terms of his skills, but his floor and his ability to cast a shadow over many receivers is something that any team should take a gamble on.

Who would you like for this Eagles' team to draft? Let us know.
