After Philly fans pretty much thought that the Philadelphia Eagles were going to head past this trade deadline without any movement to their roster, the Eagles made a last-minute trade with the Denver Broncos. The Birds sent a 2022 sixth-round pick to Denver for cornerback Kary Vincent Jr.
Vincent, who was drafted by the Broncos' in 2021, was a seventh-round pick out of LSU. The rookie corner primarily is a slot or nickel package corner. It seems that the Eagles continue to put more value into their cornerback room than they have in the past few seasons.
After so many rumors and speculations of the Eagles possibly trading Fletcher Cox, Andre Dillard, or Brandon Brooks, Howie Roseman decided to remain quiet this NFL trade deadline and looks to just have added depth to their secondary.
Well, minus this last-minute trade, this trade deadline was boring.
